- Watch. Open the feed or Explore. No account needed.
- Join. Tap Create, choose a handle, then use a passkey, an email or Google.
- Post. Add a short portrait video or a photo, a dish name and a caption. Put credits and licences in the description.
Common questions
Do I need an account to watch?
No. The feed and Explore are open to everyone. You need an account to post, like, comment and follow.
How do I sign in?
Choose a passkey (your device's screen lock or a security key), an email and password, or Google. Pick a member handle when you join. Handles are public.
What if I lose my passkey?
If you joined with a passkey only, the way back in is a one-time recovery code from the Cloud Palat team, and we cannot promise one. Keep your passkey synced or backed up, or join with email or Google so you can reset your password.
What can I post?
Short portrait videos up to 15 seconds and 8 MB, or photos up to 10 MB. Everything must be food: dishes, cooking, ingredients, drinks and kitchens.
What happens after I upload?
An automatic check looks at your text and a preview of the clip or photo. If it passes, it goes live. If it is not food, it is rejected. If the check is unsure, it is held for a person to review, with no review time promised.
What does the AI label mean?
Clips made with generative AI carry a visible AI-generated label so nobody is misled about what they are watching.
Can I use music or clips from other people?
Only media you made or that is free to use with credit, such as CC0 or CC BY. Put the creator, source and licence in your post description.
How do I turn my profile into a business profile?
Open your profile and choose Switch to business. Pick your type, add optional city, hours, a public phone number and menu or order links. You can switch back to a personal profile at any time.
What is a verified badge?
A check that a person confirmed a business is who it says it is. A business can request one from its business details. Badges are never automatic: each request is checked and approved or rejected by a person.
Does it cost anything?
Posting and browsing are free. Promoted reach for businesses is planned for later and is not available yet.
Can I order food in the app?
Not yet. The Market is a preview and does not take payments. Order buttons on a business profile open that business's own link.
How do I report a problem?
Use the report option on a post. A post that several members report is held for review. For anything else, use the Contact page.
